Ardea (RM) – Shock over the death of the little girl in the road accident. Seven injured

Three other children were also injured, two of whom were in another of the cars involved, while one is the victim’s little brother.

Those who witnessed the devastating accident that yesterday involved three cars in Ardea, on Pontinia Vecchia just outside Rome, are still in shock. A 7-year-old girl who was traveling with her mother, an uncle and her little brother has died. For her, unfortunately there was nothing that could be done. All attempts to save her were futile, in an understandable and heartbreaking family scenario.

The Class A in which the little girl was was hit by a ‘ricochet’ due to a lane invasion due to a collision between two other cars. This would be the dynamic being examined by the police, but the Velletri prosecutor’s office opened an investigation file at the same time.

The tragic accident happened in the afternoon around 4pm, at the intersection with via Pascarella and via Strampelli. A dangerous and sadly known intersection.

The victim’s mother was taken by ambulance to the Pomezia hospital while her little brother was admitted to the Bambino Gesù hospital in Rome. The other two children who were in the other car were also injured, while the driver of the third car was taken by helicopter to San Camillo in Rome under code red.

The firefighters of the Pomezia detachment intervened to extract the injured from the sheets of metal, twisted by the tragic collision, and then completed the operations to make the vehicles and the area safe. The Carabinieri and the local police of Ardea were also present to investigate the case.
