FASANO – A motorcyclist involved in an accident was transported in code red by ambulance to Perrino in Brindisi. It happened in the early afternoon today, Saturday 27 April 2024, on the highway that connects Bari to Brindisi, southern carriageway, in the direction of the Adriatic capital. At the exit for Torre Canne, the young man apparently lost control of his motorbike, which ended up against the Jersey barrier that divides the carriageways.

Traffic police officers and 118 health workers rushed to the scene. The latter provided first aid and transported the young man to hospital. The former are dealing with the investigations and reconstruction of the dynamics, which have yet to be completely clarified. The accident should be independent, but it is not excluded that the motorcyclist attempted to avoid an obstacle. The boy is conscious, fortunately, and is entrusted to the care of doctors.
