In Bracciano the appointment is renewed at the foot of the Odescalchi Castle
It is one of the most anticipated and engaging events on the holiday calendar in Italy. Good Friday is an event deeply felt by Italian Catholic communities, and the most disparate cities in the country are ready to interpret the historical re-enactment of the Passion and Death of Jesus.
In Cerveteri this event is undoubtedly suggestive and particularly awaited, a tradition that has been repeated for 58 years and which is now rooted in the local cultural fabric. In Piazza Aldo Moro, starting from 9pm, thanks to the work of the Association led by the good Pietro Longatti, the curtain rises on a unique show with the enchanting Ruspoli Castle in the background.
And Bracciano is no exception. Now in its 47th edition, the extraordinary event of the “Passion”, the organized re-enactment, returns to the lakeside town too
from Rione Monti and created with the contribution of the Municipality of Bracciano, a consolidated tradition always loved by the people of Bracciano which takes place at the foot of the wonderful Odescalchi Castle which with its natural and historical scenography makes the show even more engaging.
