The draft Memorandum of Understanding for the “Tor Bella Monaca” pilot project was approved by the Regional Council, which provides for a series of urban redevelopment interventions to restore the legality and safety of the residential complex in Viale Santa Rita da Cascia, among the numbers 20 and 50.
In this context, the Lazio Region will finance, with approximately one hundred thousand euros per year for the next three years, the security, video surveillance, security and concierge services, assigned to be managed by Ater Roma, in order to guarantee the safety of citizens who regularly reside in the buildings of the area.
The “Tor Bella Monaca” pilot project involves, in addition to the Lazio Region, the Ministry of the Interior, the Ministry of Sport and Youth, Roma Capitale and is part of a much broader framework, which sees the Rocca Council committed to combating the phenomenon of illegal occupations through urban regeneration works in the suburbs that can act as a model of legality and well-being for the community.
The Lazio Region, in fact, has already started a series of redevelopment and extraordinary maintenance interventions on the four towers of Tor Bella Monaca, through the allocation of approximately three million euros.
