The 5th Place Playoffs for Gas Sales Piacenza will begin on Wednesday 3 April (8.30 pm) in Cisterna. The Volleyball League has made the calendar of the 5th Place Play Offs official, the winner is qualified for next season’s Challenge Cup.
Six teams participate in the 5th Place Play Offs: Gas Sales, Cucine Lube Civitanova, Rana Verona and Valsa Group Modena who emerged losers from the Quarter Finals of the Scudetto Play Offs, as well as Cisterna Volley and Pallavolo Padova, ninth and tenth respectively in the standings at the end of the Regular Season.
The six teams will play a one-way round robin which includes five matches for each team. Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza will play three matches at PalabancaSport and two away. The 4 best teams play in the Semifinals and Final in a single match at the home of the best ranked team at the end of the tournament. All races will be broadcast on VBTV.
