SCANDOLARA RAVARA – Intervention by the Cremona firefighters, Wednesday evening, in via Giuseppe Garibaldi, to make a point affected by a car leaving the road. The driver, for reasons still being verified, suddenly lost control of the car at number 78 and went hitting a gas pipe, also knocking down a public lighting pole. There were no consequences for the driver, but a check by the fire brigade was necessary as a methane pipe was involved. The area involved was immediately made safe. Firefighters have strung out red and white tape to indicate the affected area.
«Fortunately nothing serious happened – explains the mayor Roberto Oliva -. In a few hours everything was already fine.” It cannot be ruled out that the driver lost control of the car after going down with the wheels on the right onto the small ‘step’ between the asphalt and the boundary wall on which the pipe is resting.
