Idris Elba he recalled his experience on the set of The Office during an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

The interpreter of Charles Minear in the episodes aired in 2009 appeared in seven episodes, including the finale of the fifth season, entitled Company Picnic.

Idris has now revealed:

They were always trying to make me laugh. It happened constantly, it was non-stop. Especially John Krasinski. Trying to stay serious while saying my lines was really difficult, someone was always making some noise.

Elba further added that he’s a fan of “cringe comedy” and “dad jokes” that elicit a specific reaction from viewers because that’s his sense of humor.

The Luther star is currently starring on the small screen as the voice of Knuckles in the series produced for Paramount+ and linked to the Sonic films.
The actor also recently starred in Hijack, a project that debuted on Apple TV+ screens.
