Reggio Emilia, 27 April 2024 – It happened found lifeless in the last few hours in his home Mirco Salsi, 67 years old, founder of the Reggiana Gourmet company in Bagnolo, which has now passed into the hands of a new company

The body was found by brother Massimo, former trade unionistworried, like some friends, that they would not hear from him and that he would find him lying at the bottom of the stairs with a bloody wound on his head.
Still shocked by the discovery, he says: “We still don’t know anything for sure, everything is being examined by the police, who intervened on the spot. Investigations to ascertain the causes of death are underway, they will probably also be clarified by the autopsy, which was ordered by the authorities.”
At the moment it is hypothesized that there may be a cause of the tragedy domestic accident or illnessseeing that in the house, where the entrepreneur he lived alone, no traces of other people would have been found. The body was transferred to the Modena forensic medicine institute at the disposal of the judicial authorities.

In fact, Salsi was already arrested for the first time in 2014 as part of the Octopus investigation, concerning a ring of false invoicing. A judicial tunnel that had inevitably marked his life.
