It is set for Monday 1 April the reopening of School dedicated to the Roccaverano DOP in the town square. The initiative, which has now been repeated for a few years, has become a point of reference for making known this excellence of the territory which in 2024 celebrates its 45 years of obtaining the PDO.
In the headquarters of the old school of Roccaverano i producers will be able to meet the public every Sunday and public holiday (from 11am to 6pm), telling the secrets of the DOP through guided tastingspromoting the territory and selling its own cheeses, each of which narrates the aromas of the herbs on which the goats were fed, making the productions of each farm different from each other.
Furthermore, this year’s initiatives include ‘The Roads of Roccaverano’, a project that involves the Municipalities that are part of the PDO production area to reveal a still uncontaminated territory, yet to be discovered. Through a series of walks among glimpses rich in history and culture you will also be able to taste the gastronomic delicacies that the area offers.
The first appointment is set for Sunday 7 April and will last 11 km, winding through the rocks that dot the Langa Astigiana.
