With a message published on social media, GameStop USA apologizes for the error and confirms that the previously leaked date for the release of Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater (November 17) it is not correct. At the moment pre-orders remain open but the game still does not have an official release date.

Konami has opened pre-orders for Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater in Europe and the United States, however there is currently no release date announced for the game yet. In theory, because GameStop USA just leaked it…
In fact, the chain announced the opening of pre-orders on social media, confirming that Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eater will be available from November 17, 2024 in Standard and Collector’s Edition versions. This date, however, was immediately removed and currently a generic placeholder date appears on the GS website, i.e. December 31st.
Konami has yet to announce the Metal Gear Solid Delta Snake Eat release dater, November 17th is certainly a probable date but we reiterate that it is not confirmed at the moment. Delta pre-orders are now open at select retailers, of particular note is the $199 MGS Delta Snake Eater Collector’s Edition which includes various bonuses, including:
- A miniature terrarium
- Naked Snake ID card
- FOX logo patch
- Metal Steelbook case featuring Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater artwork
A Deluxe Edition will also be available in Europe with unspecified digital content, this version is known as Tactical Edition in North America. At the moment pre-orders are not open in Italy on Amazon, GameStop or other retailers but by now it should only be a matter of a few hours.
