Fallout 4 HD Overhaul – Load Accelerator
Returning to download Fallout 4 a few years after the first trip to the wastelands, you might be tempted by the High Resolution Texture Pack published in 2017: a substantial free DLC which, on paper, should give prestige to the post-apocalyptic landscapes modeled by Bethesda. In practice, however, the high definition textures included in the package have a minimal impact on the visual performance of the game, and at the same time require a certain effort from the hardware.
This being the case, we can only advise you to opt for a valuable fan-made alternative, or the Fallout 4 HD Overhaul. Unlike the official DLC, the Luxor mod significantly improves the quality of the title’s scenarios, especially in 4K, obviously provided that you have a PC capable of supporting its weight.
Considering the size of the package and its physiological consequences on the loading of the title, we recommend that you also download Load Accelerator, a mod which in an SSD environment allows you to considerably reduce waiting times when moving from one area to another.
