there is a “cosmic error” with gravity

The theory of relativity Albert Einstein is a pillar of general gravity, but a new study would question it and speak of “cosmic error”. In this way a team of researchers from the University of Waterloo and the University of British Columbia would explain unusual behavior in the Universe.

What scientists have discovered about gravity and the Big Bang

The theory of “general relativity” by Albert Einstein has passed countless tests and observations. According to what has been thought for over a century, gravity influences not only the three physical dimensions but also time, which is considered a fourth dimension. It is a model that has explained phenomena such as the Big Bang and the photography of black holes.

Despite this, however, compared to gravity on cosmic scales, scientists have found inconsistencies and it is as if Einstein no longer had all this authority. It is called the “cosmic error” and creates a weakening of gravity on the order of 1% over distances of billions of light years.

The new model expands Einstein’s mathematical formulas, so as to resolve inconsistencies of some cosmological measurements, without however affecting the successful applications of general relativity by the greatest physicist and mathematician of all time. “This new model may be the first clue to a cosmic puzzle that we are starting to solve across space and time,” the researchers explained.

Because Einstein’s theories are wrong and outdated

Albert Einstein’s theory of general relativity was of fundamental importance for understanding the Universe, but today it seems to have been surpassed by that of a team of Canadian scientists. She has been identified some sort of flawwhat has been called a “cosmic glitch”.

After a gravitational hole found in the ocean, a significant detail emerges that could explain, at least in part, the phenomenon ofaccelerated expansion of Space and enable a greater understanding of gravity on a cosmic scale.

According to Einstein’s theory dating back to 1915, gravity is not a traditional force, but a consequence of curvature of space-time, caused by the presence of mass and energy. It would have explained innumerable astronomical phenomena in this way, but it would not always have been applicable exactly.

Here there is a new scientific hypothesis that modifies the equations of general relativity, taking into account a weakening of gravity when operating on cosmic scales. The great theorist of German origins, therefore, would not have been wrong. What astronomers discovered today is just an addition that applies to specific terms and conditions. A piece of the puzzle also made by the Fifth Force of the Universe.

In fact, about a century ago, astronomers understood that the Universe is not only expanding, but that it is doing so at an ever-increasing speed. So the most distant galaxies move further and further away, almost to the point light speed. The latter is precisely the maximum limit allowed by Einstein’s theory and this is where a greater understanding of gravity is needed.

The model proposed by the Canadian team is only a first step towards this direction and there are many implications on a cosmic scale which escape the experts. Einstein continues to be a pillar of relativity, a certainty from which to start to further expand our knowledge of space and its mysteries every day.
