No to the numerous logistics requests, yes to new commercial spaces with a new medium-sized supermarket next to Decathlon, up to 1,500 square meters, and other structures of large chains expanding in the Bennet commercial area, and in addition a small logistics warehouse in the part towards Borgo San Giovanni and the expansion of Itelyum Regeneration. The new Pieve Fissiraga urban planning tool will be implemented by May, which promises to have a notable impact on the territory.

The process of reviewing the Territorial Governance Plan, the urban planning instrument, started in 2020, and had a long process, with numerous comparisons. It incorporates the higher regulatory indications, starting from the regional law on land consumption: for the new incoming transformations, areas of the same size have been removed which in the previous (and still current) urban planning instrument had a productive or residential destination, and therefore the balance of land consumption is essentially zero. The administrative process has come to an end, and the final publication in the official regional bulletin is expected in April, after which it will come into force.

This path has led to the identification of a new commercial development in the Decathlon area with the forecast of a new medium-sized supermarket, up to 1,500 square meters (but also two smaller ones of 750 square metres), which will occupy the portion of land immediately adjacent to the sporting goods brand. The commercial destination already in force was confirmed towards Cascina Pezzolo. On the other hand, in the expansion of the Bennet area, a new commercial expansion has been planned in the quadrants behind the current Prenatal store, where other large chains will be able to arrive where previously it was thought to build a new school. The only logistical forecast, for a warehouse of approximately 20 thousand square metres, is located in a portion of land behind the Terrepadane warehouse, along the provincial road 140 adjacent to the industrial area of ​​Borgo San Giovanni. Finally, on the opposite side of provincial road 235, the area next to the Itelyum factory, owned by it, has been made productive for future expansions and to further anchor the circular economy giant in Pieve, where the cent of research. It is intended for production with a recovery plan in the Molino area, where Tecnostrutture (which already uses the external area for storage) will bring its warehouse.

Alongside these transformations, the residential expansion towards Cornegliano was eliminated and instead the development of a new neighborhood near Via Dei Guazzi was planned for a theoretical settlement of around 200 people. Finally, the restrictions on historic farmhouses have been maintained, but the procedures for the relevant areas have been streamlined, so as not to stifle any development of agricultural businesses.
