To unlock the true ending of Dragon’s Dogma 2 it is necessary to work a little and for several reasons: it is necessary to reach the canonical ending of the game but it is also necessary to have obtained a particular type of object, which can then be used to unlock a particular section of the game.
Specifically, here is everything you need to do to unlock the secret ending:
- First you need to get to the final mission Inheritance (legacy) which is carried out on top of the moonlight tower (moonglint Tower). Here the dragon will appear and force us to choose between running away and fighting him.
- Let’s deal with it and get to the coronation ceremony; However, let’s not sit on the throne, but rather let’s go and talk to the pioneer (pathfinder) who is sitting at the table on the left side of the throne. Let’s talk to him twice (after the first time he will move) and tell him to send us back to fight the dragon.

- Complete the three main missions of this new open world that is Dreams Apart, A Scholarly Pursuit And Halls Of The First Dawn;
- evacuate cities by convincing citizens to temporarily relocate to the Seafloor Shrine;
- explore the places marked by large red rays coming down from the sky; There are 5 of them in the game world and each of these is connected to special bosses to face.
