On the website “Autoevolution.com“, a curious story has been brought to light, which goes beyond the canons of the brand and DNA Ferrari. Indeed, an F12tdf Prototype cannot drive on the road because it is too slow, and we didn’t make a writing mistake. This is a particular model that was developed for tests, which reaches a maximum speed of 24.4 km/h, equal to 15 mp/h based on what was reported by the aforementioned source.
The car is completely colored in black, but from an aesthetic point of view it is very similar to the one we present here in the photo, which is the standard F12tdf. It must be said that there are some differences with the basic model, such as the addition of various spoilers and air intakes, which give it a design that appears more extreme and sportyand we would never think that its performance could be so poor.
In fact, the 6.5-liter V12 engine has been removed from this car, and it can proceed, at most, at walking pace. The amazing thing is that it is currently owned by a Ferrari dealer located in California, who rejected a client’s offer of $475,000 to purchase it. For a showcase piece that cannot be driven on the street, this is an absolutely pharaonic sum, but apparently, the dealer wants much more to get rid of it now.
