Tour de France 2024, tomorrow’s stage Pinerolo-Valloire: route, altimetry, times, TV

Il Tour de France 2024 after the first three stages in Italy, the route crosses the border into France in a very tough Alpine stage, the first real mountain stage of this Grande Boucle starting from Pinerolo and finishing in Valloire, with some historic climbs of this Grande Giro.

PATH

We start from Pinerolo to arrive in Valloire after 139.6 kilometers, but above all 3600 meters of altitude difference. Shortly after the start, we will begin to climb towards the Sestrière, a long second category GPM that will lead to over 2000 meters of altitude (39.9 km at 3.7%). You will glide at the end of a rapid descent to Cesana Torinese and ascend towards the Col de Montenevre, crossing the border into France (8.3 km at 5.9%). You will thus enter the Hautes-Alpes region, you will pass through Briançon and there will not be much space to take a breath towards the Galibier Pass, a hors catégorie at 2642 meters altitude (23 km at 5.1%). The top of the hill will be 19 km from the finish line: from here it’s all downhill towards the finish line in Valloire.
