Ruben Buriania former footballer, spoke during the “Piazza Affari” program on TMW Radio to comment on Milan’s moment.
Are you convinced by Fonseca’s choice?
“The managers chose him because they saw something different from Pioli. They want a coach with the will to play attacking football and give a different image than in the past.”
Milan is launching various names for the attack, starting with Lukaku and Zirkzee.
“Now everyone is looking for a centre forward and I notice that negotiations on good players are already starting to drag on. Lukaku is a player who provides depth, he knows how to make himself heard in the area. At the moment it’s all a mix of lots of preliminary chatter”.
However, Milan are looking for very different profiles in attack, is there a bit of confusion?
“I don’t think it’s confusion, they simply hope to have an important name for next year. We need to be cautious in case a deal falls through. At Milan they are clear about what they want, but on the market operations are never easy.
Lukaku’s qualities are indisputable, but there are countless factors to consider, sometimes even an injury can be enough to affect a season.”
