Last stop completely on Italian soil for the Tour de France 2024. After two hectic days in which we saw the first skirmishes between the big names, the first opportunity for the sprinters arrives with Piacenza-Torino. The longest day of the Grande Boucle with its 230.8 kilometers, three GPM but quite far from the finish line, allowing the sprinters to play for the victory.

He is the man to beat Jasper Philipsen: for a year now the strongest sprinter around. Last year he dominated the Tour, taking home the green jersey, and no one in the group seems able to reach his heights. If all the pieces fall into place, the Belgian is the favorite. Behind him, a lot of anticipation for another Belgian, Arnaud De Lie (Lotto-Dstny), who can’t wait to unleash his horses.
