Jonas Vingeegard (Visma Lease a Bike) with number 1, Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates) with 11. The starting list of the 111th Tour de France is official and as per tradition it opens with the champion of last edition and his rivals for the yellow jersey at the head of their respective teams.
Giulio Ciccone will be sporting the number 41 on the Lidl-Trek jersey starting tomorrow, Remco Evenepoel (Soudal Quick Step) the number 71, Primoz Roglic (Red Bull Bora Hansgrohe) the number 81, world champion Mathieu van der Poel (Alpecin Deceuninck) the number 101, Olympic champion Richard Carapaz (EF Education EasyPost) the number 111, Mark Cavendish (Astana Qazaqstan) who is aiming to beat Eddy Merckx’s record of victories the number 191, and Matteo Vercher of TotalEnergies will close with the number 218.
The youngest in the race is Johannes Kulset of Uno 8 Italians in the race as we had already anticipated three days ago: the Italian champion and only Florentine in the group Alberto Bettiol (Ef Education EasyPost), Michele Gazzoli and Davide Ballerini (Astana Qazaqstan), Luca Mozzato (Arkea B&B Hotels), Gianni Moscon (Soudal Quick Step), Matteo Sobrero (Red Bull Bora Hansgrohe) and Davide Formolo (Movistar).
