The managers are working to draw up a specific regulation, but since 2026 the revolution should begin with the twin-cylinder protagonists.

Supersport 300 is a revolution: rules and characteristics will change
On the other hand the Supersport 300 it is a rather young championship – born in 2017 – which still cannot find its scene. Therefore, the organizers explain in a specific press release that “the SBK Commission is currently working on the introduction of a new World Superbike class for 2026, marking a significant evolution in the racing landscape. This new class will replace the World Supersport 300”. The intention is to make the competition renewed and attractive from both a sporting and commercial point of view, and represent an outlet into the higher categories for drivers.
