Good morning friends of OA Sports and welcome to LIVE live of the afternoon session of sixth race day of the 2024 European Long Course Swimming Championships in progress a Belgrade (Serbia). Penultimate appointment in the Serbian capital regarding the continental event. Despite the absences of many big names, there was no shortage of emotions, and in the last two days of competition we can expect great performances from the athletes competing in the Balkans.
One of the most anticipated races of tomorrow are the 1500 men’s freestyletest in which we will see Mykhailo Romanchuk. The Ukrainian, after the victory obtained in the 800 freestyle, is also chasing the title in the longest distance in the pool. Although he prevailed with a wide margin in the sixteen pool test, Romanchuk did not fully convince, so today the Ukrainian is expected to put in a great performance.
In the other races of the day, watch out for Kristof Milak in the 200 butterfly final. The Hungarian is still not in his best form, but test after test the Hungarian is getting closer to his best condition. After the title in the 50 backstroke, Apostolos Christou he returns in the double distance to try to gain access to the semi-final in the morning.
