Councilor Caputo: Calls for proposals for the improvement of agricultural companies, agritourism and the promotion of quality products are underway

“Applications for Measure SRD01, which allocates 70 million euros to investments to improve the performance of Campania companies, can be submitted until September 23. We meet the needs of companies by recognizing more time to build and improve project quality. As per the timetable, additional calls for proposals for over 8 million euros have also been published for two interventions of CSR 23-27: SRD03 – Investments in agricultural companies for diversification into non-agricultural activities – Agritourism and SRG10 – Promotion of quality products”.

The announcement of the Measure SRD01 allocates 70 million euros to investments to improve the performance of Campania companies. We have decided to postpone the deadline for submitting applications (initially scheduled for August 5) to September 23, 2024. The objectives of the SRD01 call are to make companies more modern and innovative and the intervention falls within the category of structured investments of the Campania CSR of the 2023-2027 programming. The call provides for the provision of a capital contribution in order to enhance the competitiveness of agricultural companies on the markets, through investments that allow beneficiary companies to enhance and adapt their structures and their productivity, aiming both at improving and increasing potential and profitability, and at improving climate-environmental performance that allow a lower environmental impact of the agricultural sector.
The announcement SRD03 will have a financial endowment of 6.1 million euros. Thanks to this call for proposals, we will support investments by agricultural companies in non-agricultural activities, more precisely in the agritourism sector, which promote economic growth and sustainable development in rural areas, also contributing to improving territorial balance in both economic and social terms. We continue the objective of contributing to the increase in income of agricultural families as well as improving the attractiveness of rural areas, thus contributing to counteracting the trend towards depopulation. The call for tenders SRG10 will have a financial endowment of 2 million euros and the objective of supporting the implementation of information and promotion initiatives by producer associations on European Union quality schemes and national and regional quality systems. In this way, it is intended to contribute to improving the profitability of companies and their position in the value chain, consolidate the agri-food supply chains of quality products and increase the level of knowledge and consumption of quality products by consumers on the EU internal market. “In the coming months – concludes the Regional Councilor Nicola Caputo – we will start with other calls for tenders foreseen by the timetable, among others: transformation and marketing of agricultural products; cooperation for rural, local development and smart villages; integrated production and support of disadvantaged mountain areas or territories with specific constraints or significant natural disadvantages. We have put up for tenders significant resources aimed at improving the competitiveness of primary producers and territories. Many and substantial opportunities from the Campania Region for agricultural, agri-food entrepreneurs and young people”.
