Among the new features for next season, for the Milanthere is the one relating to the project of second team. After Juventus and Atalanta, the Rossoneri will be there third team in Serie A to start the programunder 23. The training will be inserted in the third division of the Italian pyramid, the Serie C, and will face the entire season exactly like all their opponents: championship, Serie C cup and possible promotion playoffs. The club’s official statement on the second team has not arrived but Zlatan Ibrahimovicduring his press conference six days ago at Milanello, spoke at length about under 23 project, essentially anticipating what will be communicated by the company in the coming days. In this sense, Fonseca’s role is very important: he is a coach who gives young people opportunities, gives them responsibility” : this is the first idea offered by Zlatan who underlined how first and second team will work next to each otherwith Mr. Fonseca who will be able to benefit and count on the work of Daniele Bonera, destined to be the coach of the under 23s. Then, speaking of Francesco Camarda, Zlatan added another important reflection: “For me, a club like Milan must have a strong youth sector and always create profiles of players who arrive in first team: something has to come out and for me too little is coming out: this is the under 23 project: the first team is there, the gap is too big.” In other words for the young players of Milanthe experience with the team in Serie C will be one concrete possibility of competing with professional football without the pressure of the first team. A growth opportunity that the club wants to exploit, given the many talents available.

As mentioned, there is no official statement from the club, this is because the Milan has yet to complete its registration for the championship after the exclusion of Ancona. All documentation must be prepared by June 25th: in the next six days, therefore, it is reasonable to expect communications from the club regarding the second team. By then other news will also be confirmed which for the moment are only unofficial. The first is the technician who will be Daniele Bonera, in recent years permanently on Stefano Pioli’s staff. Then there will also be a ad hoc sports director: it’s about Jovan Kirovski, an American who brought Ibra to LA Galaxy and who Zlatan himself called to Milan. Milan will therefore also be able to count on new additions arriving from the outside: the first rumors in recent days tell of a possible flashback with the goalkeeper Alessandro Plizzarialready with good experience in Serie C, but also with an interest in the striker born in 2005 Ciryaque Iriè of Dijon (French third series). These will join the talents already registered with Milan and coming from the youth sector: obviously there is one above all Francesco Camarda. The number 9’s contract will be made official in July.
