Fasano – Having archived the extraordinary debut season in Serie B1, Pantaleo Podio Volley Fasano starts again with the new sports program for the next tournament with the unchanged desire to amaze again. The first official step is the reconfirmation of the management staff. Beating heart of the entire technical, sporting and logistical organisation. There are no substantial changes within the yellow-blue club with the president Renzo Abetereconfirmed in his role as first leader of the Fasano association.
“After the wonderful last season – says Abete – we are ready to start again to try to repeat the good things we did in our first season of Serie B1. A great team effort made possible by all our collaborators who in various capacities were close to us in the logistical organization of the championship, given that Group E in which we are inserted included very complicated trips from an organizational point of view. Without them we wouldn’t have been able to do all of this. In the next few days we will therefore redefine the list of managers who will want to be at our side for next season and then start again immediately with the organizational machine. Regarding the sporting aspect, I am very happy with the objective achieved but at the same time sorry for not being able to achieve the leap in category that the promotion play-offs highlighted as being within our reach. Thanks to our extraordinary technical and medical staff who are always present and professional and to all the athletes who have embraced our cause with diligence and professionalism. Now it’s time to look forward, starting from the good work done to date.”
The second corporate position with the vice president was also reconfirmed Alessandro D’Erchia who will once again support Abete in the difficult role of general coordinator of the entire sports and economic machine. “I am satisfied with the work done in recent years and in the last season where we demonstrated that we are a great company – states the vice president – collaborating with friends like Renzo Abete and Micaela Cofano is really easy and very stimulating given the understanding and great respect of the roles that exist in this society. Fundamental ingredient for achieving great successes like those achieved to date.”
The sporting direction remains firmly in the hands of Micaela Cofano already working on the construction of the new roster “We are already building the team that will defend our shirt next season too – says the sporting director from Fasano – some pieces are missing, but in the next few weeks we will be able to present the new roster. I’m happy with last season and this new year in Serie B1 will help us structure ourselves better to attempt the climb to Serie A2.”
