A man wounded in the abdomen, another – his possible attacker – hospitalized with a fractured tibia caused by a bullet. The shooting that took place around midnight on Viale dell’Oceano Pacifico in the car park of a hotel in theEur: the New Hotels. Two people were involved, both Italian: a 55-year-old man who suffered the most serious injuries and was hospitalized and then operated on at the San Camillo hospital and another 47-year-old Italian man who was injured in the leg but not in danger and then taken to the Sant’Eugenio hospital.

According to an initial reconstruction – the Flying Squad is leading the investigation – it would have been a robbery which ended badly. The 55-year-old was in the company of a woman (who was not involved in the shooting) and was greeting her when the 47-year-old, a known criminal, attacked them, tearing a necklace from the woman’s neck and a watch from the man’s wrist. The victim apparently tried to defend himself and gunshots were fired during the scuffle. One hit the 55-year-old in the abdomen and the other hit the attacker in the leg. The cameras of the structure are being examined.
