For the Stade Valdôtain rugby team, the season to remember ended over the weekend with three days of celebration and fun involving all the athletes, managers and supporters.
“This long season has given us a lot of satisfaction despite the commitment required, which was really important for everyone. It was certainly a positive year and one of growth both in numbers and in the quality of the game, starting from the little ones up to the big ones. The path taken is to continue to grow the technical structure by investing in professional figures who dedicate themselves full time to the Stade with the aim of making our kids grow, both as players and as current coaches and future coaches” underlined Francesco Fida, the President of the Stade
The awards for the 2023/2024 season
All categories on the field this season were awarded and the athletes received a yellow/black bag in memory of this 2023/2024 season.
The Black Yellow Lion Awardawarded by the coaches of each category, to the players who demonstrated the greatest commitment during the season, participated consistently in the activities, demonstrating a passion for the Stade and rugby went to: U6 Cecilia Della MarraU8 Tommaso PrestaU10 Gabriele ChenalU12 Marco AiazziU14 Raphael Paper “Burrito”U16 David BattendierU18 Cedric DonnetSeniors Andrea TavellaFemale Rebecca Muscatello And Diletta Martinet.
The “Lifetime Achievement” award was given to Adriano Picco And Stefano Ferrucci for their constant presence and because Ferrucci will remain as first coach together with Parra German for the Seniors in Serie B. Further recognition was given to Facundo Noval for the commitment shown.
It is instead who was elected “Stade Personality of the Year”. Rossana Aquadro.
