The wait is over, Euro 2024 kicks off. The European championships, which will take place in Germany from Friday 14 June to Sunday 14 July 2024, begin in the hope of seeing the Azzurri triumph again, but aware of having to face a complicated tournament from the start. In fact, coach Luciano Spalletti’s men will be called upon to face two of the title favorites, Spain and Croatia, already in the group, and will have to roll up their sleeves to get as far ahead as possible in the competition. But where the 51 matches of Euro 2024 can be seen?

Euro 2024 is underway

Germany, Spain, England, France, Holland, Belgium and Portugal are the favorites to win the title and, in addition to Italy, they will do everything to get their hands on the most coveted trophy in Europe. It will certainly be an exciting continental event, to be experienced in one go in the summer dedicated to sport which will then also lead to the 2024 Paris Olympics.

A month in which all eyes will be on Germany, where the European Championships will be played in which Spalletti’s men are called to defend the title. Not a simple mission, especially seeing the group drawn, but the 26 players called up by the coach will certainly give everything to make an entire nation proud.

There are many stars who will play among the 10 cities of Euro 2024 (Hamburg, Berlin, Cologne, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Gelsenkirchen, Leipzig, Munich and Stuttgart), but the Azzurri will try to repeat themselves.

Who participates in Euro 2024

24 national teams have qualified for Euro 2024. The participating teams are divided into six days and the top two from each group plus the four best third-placed teams will qualify for the round of 16. Below are the groups, with Italy included in group B.

  • Group A: Germany, Scotland, Hungary and Switzerland;
  • Group B: Spain, Croatia, Italy and Albania;
  • Group C: Slovenia, Denmark, Serbia and England;
  • Group D: Poland, the Netherlands, Austria and France;
  • Group E: Belgium, Slovakia, Romania and Ukraine;
  • Group F: Türkiye, Georgia, Portugal and the Czech Republic.

Where to watch the Euro 2024 matches

In total, between groups and round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals and final 51 races will be broadcast. Of these, 31 will be free-to-air on Rai, between Rai1 and Rai2.

But to enjoy the whole show of Euro 2024 live and in streaming it is also possible to use NOW, a Sky platform that offers all the matches of the continental event live. In fact, all matches will be broadcast live and 20 will be exclusively on Sky and therefore broadcast only on digital.

From the round of 16 to the final

The round of 16 will be played from Saturday 29 June to Tuesday 2 July, with all the matches scheduled for 9pm and will be live on Rai1, while those at 6pm will be broadcast on Sky.

The quarterfinals, however, will be on Friday 5 and Saturday 6 July, with alternation between matches at 6pm (broadcast on Rai2) and those at 9pm (which will be broadcast on Rai1).

Both semi-finals, scheduled for Tuesday 9th and Wednesday 10th July, will be scheduled at 9pm and will be broadcast on Rai1, while the final will be played on Sunday 14th July at 9pm and will be broadcast on Rai1.

When Italy plays and where to see it

Coach Luciano Spalletti’s Italy will basically be involved in three group matches against Albania, Spain and Croatia. But the hope is that the Azzurri can repeat their 2021 feat by going as far as possible in the competition.
