Armando Pontone declared: “It was exciting to race in front of the Italian public, seeing the grandstands and full lawns always has a special effect. I’m quite happy with the weekend, it’s a shame about the first free practice session which I wasn’t able to make the most of. In Race 2 I finished in the points in P15, and in Race 1 which we recovered in the afternoon I finished in P16 signing my personal best lap, improving by almost a second. This – continues Pontone – makes me confident because I am improving more and more; the only thing to improve is the start, I can’t be so incisive in the first two laps of the race, but we will do everything we can to improve this aspect. I want to improve more and more, I have a great team behind me and I’m sure we will make it.”
