The Azzurri’s tough opponents beat Granollers/Zeballos 7-5 in the decisive set in the semifinal. The Spaniard and the Argentine were the couple of the moment after winning Rome and taking the number 1 in the race. Finalists at the Italian Internationals, they achieved the beauty of 10 successes out of 11 matches played between Rome and Roland Garros.
