The new coach has not yet arrived at Continassa and has already completely rejected a profile of the current squad, thus ready to leave.
At Juventus there is great anticipation for the future. The fans and the whole environment are anxious to understand which reinforcements can arrive in Turin. However, what arouses great curiosity in particular is the new coach who will be Thiago Motta. The square is enthusiastic about this choice by the management, and hopes to be repaid with great results from the first year.
At the same time, the Italian-Brazilian coach, after his last phenomenal experience at Bologna, which led to a historic qualification for the Champions League, can’t wait to get to work and start working at Continassa. Before we even start the pre-season though for sure the coach will have a lot to do on the marketwhere, in collaboration with the company, it will decide who to focus on and who not to rely on for its new cycle.
Even before being evaluated, however, it seems that an element of the current Juventus squad has already been practically kicked out. The former PSG midfielder in fact judges him to be a non-Juventus player, and has communicated to Cristiano Giuntoli that he does not want to count on him. At this point it will be up to the sporting director to find a place for him and sell him as soon as possible.
Here is the first redundancy of the Thiago Motta era
According to the latest market rumors, Mattia De Sciglio it could be Thiago Motta’s first heavy cut in view of his future in Turin. The right back, extremely loyal to Max Allegri, does not seem to be part of the new coach’s plans at all.
The constant injuries of which he remains a victim, combined with the characteristics not particularly appreciated by the new Juventus coach, are making his future very distant from the Mole Antonelliana. Now though sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli will have to be good at finding him a club that wants to bet on him.
Future to be deciphered for De Sciglio
It won’t be easy for the Juventus club to find a place for the full-back, given that he spent an entire year in the infirmary and is continually the victim of physical problems. Even more complicated would be to monetise its sale.
For this reason therefore the idea of the Old Lady is that of let him leave on loan until June 2025, when his contract expires and can be left free at no cost.
