Nervousness and screaming. Novak Djokovic had a very complicated day at Roland Garros yesterday. He often addressed his team in the stands, he also complained to the public (about a child making noise) and then he targeted the organizers of the Paris tournament, so much so that he asked the supervisor to fix the pitch after the injury. Nole seemed to be in the corner but in the end he managed to win a long battle, which lasted over five hours.

During the fifth set, after making a bad mistake, Djokovic got very angry, looking at the stands. His wife Jelena Ristic was there with his team. It looked like an argument. But no. The Serbian’s partner tried to calm him down in a delicate moment of the match, perhaps decisive. At the end of the match, Djokovic underlined the importance of his wife within his team: “I had a little exchange of smiles with Jelena. She’s my new psychologist.” Now, however, it remains to be seen whether the Serbian champion will continue to play in Paris or will raise the white flag due to physical problems.
