European stocks negative after inflation, eyes on ECB forum in Sintra

(Telestock) – Difficult day for Piazza Affari, which is trading down, along with the other Eurolistini. Today the focus is on interventions at Sintra Central Banks Forum organised by the ECBparticularly on the panel featuring Christine Lagarde and Jerome Powell.

On the macroeconomic front, Istat has communicated that in Italia a maggio 2024, compared to the previous month, are employment decreased (after three months of growth), unemployment remained stable and inactive people increased. Eurostat instead reported that Eurozone inflation decreased to +2.5% on an annual basis in June (even if the crucial services component remained high), while the unemployment rate in May remained stable at 6.4%.

L’Euro / US Dollar continues the session at the levels of the day before, reporting a variation of -0.17%. Session in fractional decline for theorowhich leaves, for now, 0.33% on the floor. Plus sign for the petrolium (Light Sweet Crude Oil), up 0.91%.

It advances a little spreadwhich reaches +151 basis points, showing an increase of 2 basis points, with the 10-year BTP yield equal to 4.12%.

Among the main European stock exchanges prey of the sellers Frankfurtwith a decrease of 1.14%, a small loss for Londrawhich is trading at -0.4%, and sales are concentrated on Pariswhich suffered a decline of 0.87%.

A Business Squareil FTSE MIB is decreasing (-1.14%) and stands at 33,333 points; along the same lines, the FTSE Italia All-Sharewhich falls back to 35,501 points, retracing by 1.11%. In red the FTSE Italia Mid Cap (-0.95%); along the same lines, a fractional decrease in FTSE Italia Star (-0,45%).

Between best italian stocks large cap, substantially tonic Saipemwhich recorded a capital gain of 1.13%. Moderate gain for Tenariswhich advances by 1.02%. Small steps forward for ENIwhich marks a marginal increase of 0.89%. Moderately positive day for DiaSorinwhich rises by a fractional +0.64%.

The strongest drops, however, occur on Stellantiswhich continues the session with -3.58%. Sales on Ivecowhich recorded a decline of 3.53%. Negative session for Brunello Cucinelliwhich shows a loss of 2.88%. Under pressure BPERwhich shows a decrease of 2.24%.

Between Best FTSE MidCap Stocks, From Friend (+3,74%), Technoprobe (+2,10%), Pharmanutra (+0,83%) e Tinext (+0,75%).

The strongest sales, however, are seen on GVSwhich continues trading at -3.45%. It slips Buzzi Unicemwith a clear disadvantage of 3.27%. In the red SOLwhich shows a sharp decline of 3.27%. The negative performance of stands out LU-VE Groupwhich falls by 2.91%.
