There thirteenth stage of the Giro d’Italia 2024 it is the Riccione-Cento. The length is 179km and is classified as one stop 1 star. Height difference 150 meters. Calling it a rest or transfer stage would be ungenerous, but in any case we are talking about a day that serves to take a breather after the previous walls of Martinsicuro-Fano and what awaits the riders afterwards, namely the Castiglione delle Stiviere-Desenzano del Garda time trial and then the climbs of Livigno. But in the meantime the cyclists will have to face a flat stage, without altitude difficulties and therefore suitable for pure sprinters.
Route of the thirteenth stage: Riccione-Cento
The Giro arrives in Emilia-Romagna: once again the Adriatic coast is the protagonist with the start in Riccione, then climbing from Rimini towards Cesena and Forlì, to arrive in Faenza. The runners will continue up to Conselice, then entering the provinces of Bologna, Ferrara and Cento.
