This morning in its edition released on newsstands, the Corriere della Sera proposes a piece on the so-called Coaches’ Waltz. The protagonists are three big names in Italian football. There is obviously the Milan who will take a step beyond Pioli after almost five years, there is the Juventus which seems oriented towards changing Max Allegri (despite the victory of the Italian Cup last night) and finally there is the Naples who after a more than troubled season needs to reset everything and start from scratch. The headline reads like this about the current Milan coach: “Pioli, 10 million reasons for farewell”.
The Milan has chosen to change technical leadership. This now seems established even if just a little over a month ago it was far from a given. With one more year left on his contract with the Devil, the plans of the management team in via Aldo Rossi included the idea of arrive with Stefano Pioli until the end of next season. Then the horrible month of April called everything into question and distanced the Parma coach from the Rossoneri club. Now the parties will have to meet for theagreement on termination one year before.
