FIRST PERIOD
High pace straight away for 7-7 after 2′. Simms and Kabengele try to make the first move to make it 16-9 midway through the quarter. Simms again hitting first from outside and then penetrating for 21-11 entering the last 3′. Final quarter with Wiltjer scoring a triple and Wright-Foreman responding to close the first period 27-20.
SECOND PERIOD
Pesaro starts strong straight away with Ford first and then Visconti to make it 27-25 after 2′. Great reaction by Jordan Parks for 33-27 after 4′. Pesaro tries to stay in touch with Bluiett’s triples, but Casarin’s dunk makes it 40-33 with 3′ left before half time. Pesaro believes Cinciarini completes the comeback at 40-40 with 2′ to play. Bluiett again who with 4 points in a row closes the first half on 42-44.
THIRD PERIOD
Venezia starts immediately with Simms and Tucker who put Venezia ahead 52-46 after 2′. Pesaro struggles to find easy solutions and Venezia takes advantage of this by escaping to 60-46 midway through the quarter. Final of the quarter that a name and surname Amir Simms who alone signs the most probably decisive break closing the third period on 77-55.
FOURTH PERIOD
Venice in control with Pesaro no longer having the strength to get back into the game. Victory which effectively condemns Pesaro to relegation to Legadue.
