Derthona, Baldasso: “De Raffaele and Ross have made a turning point”

Tommaso Baldassoa playmaker in his first season in the Piedmontese black and white jersey, took stock of the situation on Bertram Derthona Tortona’s season so far, in an interview that appears today in Corriere dello Sport, recalling that he already has his mind on the playoffs: “We want to enjoy them until after all, since we deserved them.”:

Fluctuating season. “We had a great preseason then things didn’t go well in the championship. It’s not always just the coach’s fault. Injuries also came into play, but something had gotten stuck in the gear. De Raffaele’s arrival transformed us together with the market that brought us Colbey Ross.”

Baldasso carved out his spot coming off the bench. “I am now a player with some experience and the years spent in Milan have made me grow as a player and also as a man. I know how to understand what my role should be even if I always try to carve out more space for myself. I like to play and possibly win. I can’t believe it’s a flaw. My smoking personality? Those who know me well know well that I am like this. It’s an advantage, because I’m frank and I don’t beat around the bush about things and, for some, maybe a flaw.”
