On Saturday 20 April at 8.30pm Vanoli Cremona will face league leaders Pallacanestro Brescia in their home stadium on the 28th matchday of Serie A LBA. The match will be broadcast live on DAZN and on Eurosport 2. In the PalaRadi press room, Coach Demis Cavina presented the themes of a match that his team will face without Davide Denegr and Nathan Adrian. His words:

«A match that comes at the right time, because it will be played in an important crowd. There will be a lot of energy and right now we really need this: we need to find energy from everything and I am sure that the environment will help us a lot. Obviously we know the opponents because we have met them and also because of what they are doing in terms of results. We will need a game of great defensive quality and the fact of having shortened rotations will increase the sense of responsibility of each boy. I am sure that as I also saw in Bologna, but I am seeing every day, there will be a lot of motivation and a great desire to give that little bit extra which at this moment is also needed for the value of the opponent.

We will have to be very good at rebounding – something we didn’t do very well in Bologna – taking advantage of our offensive qualities, trying to move the ball as quickly as possible so as not to be stopped by Brescia’s physicality. Already in the first match we managed to change the speed with which we attacked; On Saturday it will have to be like this from the start because we probably won’t have time to make mistakes and this is what we are trying to think of as a game plan, as well as trying to make the boys understand how important rebounds are and the speed with which we will attack.

There is no big news regarding the conditions of the players: obviously a very good luck to Davide Denegri, in the hope – even if only for a few minutes on the pitch – of seeing Nathan Adrian with us on Saturday, even if it will be a decision that we will take together with the player in the hours preceding the match”
