«Dear ones, this year too the solemn Rogations in honor of the Blessed Virgin of Piratello occur at an important moment in our lives. In Latin rogare means to pray, ask for help, protection, liberation from evil. We really need it in this dramatic time.” With these words the bishop of the Diocese of Imola, mons. Giovanni Mosciatti opens his message for the Solemn Rogations of the Madonna del Piratello 2024. With a peculiarity: the entrance procession of the venerated image will be presided over by the Imola cardinal Mauro Gambetti.
SUNDAY 5 MAY – ENTRY of the PIRATELLO BV in IMOLA
– 6.00 pm arrival of the Piratello BV image at the “S. Maria della Scaletta”, then transfer and at 8.00 pm arrival at the Church of Croce Coperta. Recitation of the Rosary.
– 8.45pm Procession presided over by Cardinal Mauro Gambetti to the Cathedral Basilica of San Cassiano: greeting from Bishop Giovanni.
MONDAY 6 MAY
– Masses 6.30 am – 8.00 am – 9.00 am – 10.00 am – 5.30 pm Rosary – 6.00 pm Mass (Preacher Father Francesco Batterio, TOR).
– 8.15pm exit from the Image and arrival at the Church of Croce in Campo.
