AC Milan striker Christian Pulisic gave a long and interesting interview to ‘Fox Sports’. During the question and answer, the American footballer returned to the decision made last summer to leave Chelsea to move to the Rossoneri club: “It was a big change for me. Everything was moving 100 miles an hour when I was in London, the football culture was crazy. Here I could also break away from football and enjoy the lifestyle, the culture, the food. I like it a lot. The Italian language? Now I understand almost everything and I’m doing my best to talk about it when I can. I want to keep improving and I hope to be able to do some interviews in Italian soon.”

This season Pulisic has found the continuity that he has too often lacked in the Premier League: “I wouldn’t say there was a big change, or anything particular that I did. I definitely took care of my body. But it was nice to have the opportunity to play consistently. Your body gets used to it, which It’s been really helpful. When you’re constantly in and out of training it can be difficult. Your body isn’t prepared for constant use, so when you come in and give a high-intensity performance, it can definitely be a problem. But this season I I feel good and I feel confident. And that’s when I play at my best.”

Finally, a new passage on the transfer to the Rossoneri: “I wanted an opportunity, and Milan really gave it to me. Pioli really kept his promises. It’s not just knowing that I would play, but also having someone who spoke to me before and who wanted me badly. I it gave me the opportunity to play and be myself in the best way I know how, and it adapted me to what works best for the team. I think we found a good balance in that sense. Tactics are definitely an important aspect in Italy , as everyone says. We constantly examine every possible situation in training: how we press, how we execute set pieces. I feel I have learned a lot. Europa League? We will fight to try to win the trophy.”
