The 5th place Play Offs for Gas Sales Bluenergy will begin on Wednesday 3 April (8.30 pm) in Cisterna. The Volleyball League has formalized the calendar of the event which will ensure the winner a place in the Challenge Cup for next season.
Six teams participate in the 5th place Play Offs: Gas Sales Bluenergy, Cucine Lube Civitanova, Rana Verona and Valsa Group Modena who emerged losers from the quarter-finals of the Scudetto playoffs, as well as Cisterna Volley and Pallavolo Padova, ninth and tenth respectively in the standings at the end of the regular season.
The six teams will play a one-way round robin which includes five matches for each team. Gas Sales Bluenergy will play three matches at PalabancaSport and two away. The 4 best teams play in the semi-finals and final in a single match at the home of the best ranked team at the end of the tournament.
The dates of the Group: 3 or 4, 7, 10, 13 or 14 and 17 April 2024
