From the cup of the second place winner at the Australian GP to the cup of ice cream with a thousand flavors with wafer, cream and chocolate. Charles Leclerc will soon open an ice cream shop in Milan, thus launching himself into the world of entrepreneurship and pastry making for the first time. Although the Ferrari driver would have liked to keep everything secret, in the end he made official the rumors that saw him as the protagonist of this new project together with Federico Grom and Guido Martinetti, the founders of Grom, and his agent Nicolas TodtJean’s son.
Leclerc and that little “forbidden pleasure”
The Formula 1 Monegasque has already chosen the name of his ice cream shop: it will be called LEC. For now, however, no further details are known: everything, address includedwill be revealed on April 11th, on the occasion of Milan Furniture Fair. In fact, Leclerc’s statement reads: “It will be a very special project for me: a new, great adventure undertaken outside the racing circuit. As a professional athlete it is crucial for me to maintain one healthy lifestyle where my performance is strongly linked to commitment, training and physical fitness. This, however, doesn’t stop me from indulging in some little forbidden pleasure, especially that of a food that I adore. Maybe you’ve already figured out which one. Creating a product that was delicious and at the same time could be part of a healthy and balanced lifestyle like mine was the starting point of a personal journey, a journey that I loved and that I finally want to share with all of you.” And it has already popped up on social media the official profile of LEC which in the logo takes up the colors of melted chocolate and cream, with almost a thousand followers.
