In fact, Szczesny earns 6 and a half million net per season, and has given no openings to considering a renewal with a reduction: on the other hand, however, he would have no problem ending his Juventus parenthesis with the contract expiring. For the moment, Juve is forced to make overall assessments, paying attention to priorities. Having to significantly strengthen the squad for a much more demanding season than this one, he needs to make ends meet and guarantee the team experience and quality by optimizing resources. The goalkeeper park is compact and offers guarantees even for a long calendar: this is why, in the end, the management itself could postpone any intervention on the department in favor of other more urgent movements. A situation potentially addressed but not taken for granted, obviously: the market can offer surprises, which is why Juve remains vigilant on emerging goalkeepers (or potential opportunities) and it cannot be ruled out that Szczesny could change his mind in the face of some monstrous offers.

At the moment, Szczesny seems to represent the best solution to ensure Juventus has a point of stability with respect to the many changes expected. Just like Perin, who decided to stay in Turin this season with fewer games, he can continue to guarantee a valid alternative as deputy in any competition. Closing the goalkeeping team – which works in complete harmony and with maximum efficiency under the orders of coach Filippi – is Pinsoglio, who is another important piece of the group in the locker room. The future of the Juventus goal certainly belongs to other faces, but the change will have to be calibrated and in this historical moment it is important that the few references of experience of the group are consolidated in favor of competitiveness.
