Caserta, 15 June 2024 – Double murder around 2pm Orta di Atella, in the Caserta area. The victims are two brothers, Marco and Claudio Marrandino, aged 39 and 29, originally from Cesa, found lifeless at the exit of the Asse Mediano, on the road from Succivo to Orta, in the Astragata area. They were well-known faces in the area: the eldest, a lawyer, had been former president of the municipal council of Cesa, the youngest was a building contractor. Claudio Marrandino was shot inside the passenger compartment of one White BMW, Marco was probably shot while trying to escape. The bodies found lying in a pool of blood, one in the SUV, the other on the asphalt a few dozen meters away, were found by a police patrol passing through the area and apparently hearing the shots.

The suspect
