Bologna, 16 May 2024 – Killed by a gunshot fired from her colleague’s weapon which left her no escape. She died like that Sofia Stefani, 33 years old, in the room on the ground floor of the ‘Yellow House’ headquarters of the local police of Anzola dell’Emilia (Bologna).
The tragedy occurred just before 4pm. The shooter was the policeman, former commander of the local police of Terre d’Acqua, Giampiero Gualandi 63 years old (VIDEO). The victim, in the past serving at the command of the Union of Municipalities, he had also worked with him in Anzola as well as in Sala Bolognese.
Gualandi, who did not resist arrest, immediately declared to the police that it was a robbery started accidentally. “I was cleaning the gun,” he said. But the investigators are not even ruling out the passion lead and have been listening since the evening witnesses present in the building but not in the room where the two were, apparently, alone. The shocked mayor proclaimed city mourning.
