Third semi-final in four participations at the Miami Masters 1000 for Jannik Sinner. After beating the Czech Machac in the quarterfinals, the Italian will face Daniil in the semifinals on Friday Medvedev, fresh from the victory with the Chilean Jarry. A remake of last year’s final at the Hard Rock Stadium (won by the Russian in two sets), but above all a new confrontation between Jannik and Medvedev two months after the Australian Open final which gave Sinner the first Slam of his career.

When Sinner-Medvedev plays at ATP Miami
We know the date, but we don’t know the time yet of the match which will be announced by the tournament organizers on Thursday evening in Italy. The semi-finals will be played on Friday 29 March in two slots: at 8pm and 12pm Italian time. Sinner and Medvedev, who played a day earlier than the tennis players competing at the top of the draw, could take to the court in the first semi-final, at 8pm. The meeting will be live on Sky Sports and streaming on NOW.
The path of Sinner and Medvedev in Miami
Sinner is fresh from the victory (the 20th of the season) against the Czech Tomas Machac, n. 60 in the world. A growing performance for the South Tyrolean who lost a set against him in the tournament Griekspoor in the 3rd round, the most complicated match played so far by the Italian in Miami. “I feel fitter than a year ago, I can compete for hours and hours” explained Sinner after the quarterfinals. A clear path, however, for Medvedev who won four matches without losing sets: beaten in order the Hungarian Fucsovics, the British Norrie, the German Jarry and the Chilean Jarry.
