The announcement at the end of the last performance at the Sherwood Festival in Padua: “It is necessary to stop running at this point”.

The announcement at the end of the last performance at the Sherwood Festival in Padua on June 25th. A greeting to the fans who, at the moment, It is not known whether it will be a goodbye or a see you later. The group was born in 2009 and became known to the general public thanks to the second place at the Sanremo Festival 2018 with the song A life on holiday.
The words during the last concert
“Stopping running at this point is necessary and if we come back we will have to do it being happy to pick up the instruments, make records and go on stage together. We will have to take back our joy”, the five members of Lo Stato Sociale explained, as reported The Corriere della Sera, during the last concert at the Sherwood Festival in Padua. A concert with a strong symbolic value, where only one euro was enough to participate. The last year for the band has been particularly difficult also due to the pain due to death by manager Matteo Romagnoli. The authors of the famous song Un Vita in Vacanza have therefore preferred to move away from the scene. A farewell to the fans that at the moment it is not known whether it will be definitive or temporary.

In 2023 this band changed its shape forever, from six we became five without wanting it and without being able to avoid it. Now we need time – a lot or a little, we don’t know – to look inside ourselves and understand what to do when we grow up.
In the long message, accompanied by some of their photos, the group announced “the last concert in a place of the heart”, precisely the one in Padua last June 25th, with the symbolic value of one euro. Stato Sociale was born in 2009 and initially had three members: Alberto Cazzola, Lodovico Guenzi (frontman) and Alberto Guidetti. Then in 2011 Enrico Roberto and Francesco Draicchio also joined. In 2018 they participated in the Sanremo Festival, finishing in second place with A life on vacation. In 2021 they returned to the stage of the festival with Combat pop.
