Little by little, more and more news is starting to arrive regarding one of the next Star Wars films, the film set 15 years after Episode IX which will see Rey build a new Jedi Order. Recently the writer himself Steven Knight he had the opportunity to talk about his involvement and the development of the film. Let’s see his words below!

During a recent interview for NMESteven Knight had the opportunity to talk about the works he is dedicating himself to now, especially the miniseries ThisTown and the film of Peaky Blinders, an award-winning TV series written by Knight himself. Obviously he had the opportunity to update us also about his work on Star Wars. Here is the excerpt from the interview:

“You also dived into the Star Wars universe with the film New Jedi Order (Editor’s note: the title is not final), which will see Daisy Ridley reprising her role as Rey. What can you say?
I can say I’m doing it! It’s going well, yes. But yes, I’m coming in [in] that universe ed it’s a wonderful universe. I love it. And there are good people. Again, when you get to that level, you find that the people who are there are there for a reason
.

As we know Knight is dealing of writing the film, and the script should be complete soon. We are happy to see that your work is progressing smoothly, especially because according to many fake news the writer had distanced himself from the project, which was obviously not true. We hope to have news soon regarding the start of filming!
