AND‘ a series importantbuilt on six episodes, and will be released in Finland on May 16th or the 20th, coincidingly with the fatal accident at the big bend in Monza: the one immediately after the start of the 250 class, which cost the life of the Finn and our Renzo Pasolini. The news comes from Soili Karmewho collaborated in the production and reassures: we are negotiating with various platforms to reach all countries and of course also Italy.

That day Jarno started from pole in the two-mezzo and also in the 500: with his Yamahas he was literally breaking the bank the two classes of the world championship. His story is poignant for all the enthusiasts who lived through that era – he was an absolute champion and promised wonders – and we are all very anxious to see how it was reconstructed.

In Monza, 50 years after that May 20th [VIDEO]

Soili introduced us to the director a year ago in Monza and told us something more: the film starts from Jarno as a boy and follows his life, the races on the ice, the meeting with her, then the asphalt tracks and the I’m coming to the world championship. Up to Monza. It’s a great production, one of the largest made in Finland. Jarno is played by Tom RejstromSoili da Saana Koivistothe subject is of Sami Keski-Vahaladirected by the Swede Simon Kauser.

For racing scenes and motorcycles of the time major collectors were involved. There was a lot of filming in Finland and Croatia. We don’t know if Italy also hosted the crew on some occasion, we’ll find out by watching the series.
