Perugia Airport: new features and events coming soon
The Umbria – Perugia “San Francesco d’Assisi” International Airport has announced a series of new features and events for its visitors. Among the most significant innovations is the activation of a new Telepass lane at the bars entrance to the airport grounds. This new functionality allows automatic payment for parking in the entire airport parking area, making access to and exit from the airport easier and faster.
Inside the terminala seventh operator is now active car rent, further expanding mobility options for travelers. Furthermore, a new shop will open in the shopping mall in the next few days. Managed by Confagricoltura, the shop will promote and market typical local products, offering visitors a taste of the culinary richness of Umbria.
As part of the infrastructure maintenance program, it was completed the repainting of the facade of the airport terminal, renewing the external appearance of the building.
For the month of July, the airport has also scheduled a series of five concerts to be held in the area outside the terminal. To welcome the passengers arriving and departing will be the Perugian group “I leoni di notte”, which will present a wide musical repertoire spanning several decades, from the 1930s to the present day. The musical events will take place on 2, 9 and 16 July from 11.45am to 2.15pm, on 12 July from 4pm to 6.30pm and on 14 July from 6.45pm to 9.15pm.
These new features and events represent an ongoing commitment by Perugia Airport to enhance the visitor experience and celebrate local culture.
