Farewell to Palermo, Rinaudo: «Corini and Mignani have done a great job»

After his farewell to Palermo, Leandro Rinaudo held a press conference this morning, releasing the following words:

«How do you look at what is happening now in Palermo with the total reset? I think it’s football. if you go and analyze it, it has happened in other situations. I’m not surprised. I have been in this world for many years now and when there are large investments we always try to find solutions. I’ve been in situations where Palermo did it and I think it’s football and normality. I don’t see anything strange about it, today I think I have reached a maturity that allows me to face this with the right maturity. Would continuing with Corini have been right? Saying it now seems simple, the change probably didn’t deliver what you thought. I see my reasoning at the end of a journey. I believe that Eugenio did an excellent job like Mignani. The objective was to survive the first year and in the second to be competitive for the Serie A and we made a playoff semi-final. Coach changes are made because we think he can give something positive. This is part of football and the consolidation of a club. Next year can be important for Palermo.”
